Bio

  • Titus Schleyer, DMD, PhD, is Professor of Biomedical Informatics at Indiana University and a Research Scientist at the Regenstrief Institute (http://www.regenstrief.org). Previously, he held academic and administrative leadership positions in informatics and information technology at Temple University and the University of Pittsburgh. His career has been and is focused on practical, day-to-day implementation and operation of information technology, as well as informatics research. Fluent in several programming languages, database systems and other IT tools, he has led the development and implementation of many software applications in healthcare. His informatics research focuses on electronic health records, data analytics, Internet applications, workflow and human-computer interaction, and data representation.
