Consumer Health Informatics Working Group

A community of health informatics researchers and professionals dedicated to the inclusion of diverse consumer perspectives who lead the generation of new knowledge and impactful solutions to improve health in everyday settings and the continuum of healthcare.


To be the go-to working group in AMIA for consumer health informatics by a) promoting the importance of consumer perspectives, b) providing resources for members to build their leadership and expertise, c) fostering networking and collaboration among researchers, professionals, and communities, and d) contributing to thought leadership in the field.
