Are you ready to serve the association, its members, and the profession? AMIA relies on the dedication of its volunteers as the cornerstone of the organization.
Currently, AMIA is accepting applications for leadership positions within 19 AMIA Working Groups. These groups provide an excellent opportunity for young informatics professionals to gain early career leadership experience and for seasoned AMIA members to share their valuable knowledge and insights.
The nomination criteria for Working Group leaders are designed to ensure a diverse mix of experience, age, gender, race, ethnicity, identity, orientation, geography, and institution. This diversity reflects the wide spectrum of AMIA membership, the healthcare profession, and the broader population.
Each Working Group manages its own nominations. Once the nominees are announced, voting instructions will be available on the AMIA website. Apply by July 12.
