Jorge Ferrer, MD, MBA, FAMIA, FHIMSS, currently works as a Clinical Informaticist in the U.S Department of Veterans Affairs. With over two decades of experience in the US Federal government, he specializes in health informatics policy, standards, perioperative care informatics, innovations, interoperability, and blockchain in healthcare. He is a recipient of the 2022 FedHealth IT Innovation Award for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs National Artificial Intelligence Institute Provider Directory Interoperability Use Case Innovation and 2024 FORUM IT 100 Award for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs National Artificial Intelligence Institute Provider Directory Interoperability Use Case Innovation.
